On Monday, I finally got to experience my most-awaited adventure in San Francisco – a visit to the Museum of Ice Cream. I purchased our tickets almost two months in advance because they sell out quick!
Those of you who know me already know this, but I absolutely love ice cream! It’s my top favorite food and I have been known to go through phases where I eat pints of ice cream for meals (like many, many meals on consecutive days for months). I would eat ice cream every day for every meal if I could, but that’s not sustainable or healthy (even eating my beloved Halo Top), so that’s out.
SO THE DAY HAS COME. I get to visit the Museum of Ice Cream, which is a [very brightly colored] interactive art exhibit with ice cream, candy, and other treats offered for tasting throughout. The museum first opened as a pop-up art exhibition in Manhattan in 2016. Since then, it has opened a temporary pop-up exhibition in Los Angeles and Miami, as well as another in San Francisco that became a permanent exhibition (with rotating installments) in September 2017.

It’s all about fun, and feeling like a kid again. Everyone loves ice cream. It’s a way to bring people together.
Nothing could have prepared me for the awesomeness that we encountered after stepping inside the building. I would guess that 95% of the walls, floors, and ceilings were pink and I. Was. Obsessed. On top of that, we kicked off the experience with a trip down a pink slide and then were given a pink ice cream sandwich. Anyone would agree that this museum is truly my heaven on earth.

We wrapped up the experience by buying [more] ice cream and perusing the shop (where I wanted to buy EVERYTHING). I settled for a hat and this adorable pin that just gets me!
THANK YOU SF MUSEUM OF ICE CREAM FOR THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!! && brb, going to quit my job so that I can move to San Francisco and work in heaven 🍦💕
This place looks awesome. Id love to visit. I’m wanting to know what are the giant sprinkles made of?
They were made of some plastic and reminded me of the ball pits that kids play in! They recently changed them because when a friend went a couple months before me, they were actual sprinkle size and she said they were all stuck in her clothes after. Haha! I definitely recommend a visit ☺️
Thanks for sharing great experience of Museum of Ice Cream, Last year we visit there and my daughter has enjoyed lot.
