Welcome to my “outfit of the week.” Every once in a while, I’m loving an item or outfit that I put together. Weekly, check in to see the latest upload of an outfit that I’m just feeling myself in. These outfits and pictures will be “real life” – no photo shoots, no amazing backgrounds, no filters (and probably on more than one occasion, no makeup).

I’m FINALLY back home and have my own room and my bed and my bathroom! Yet, I’m still living out of my suitcase because it’s easier than unpacking everything and then repacking in just a few more days (see suitcases and overall mess in the background of every picture below). Probably not the best habit to have, but, it is what it is.

So I was getting ready on Saturday and had to dress for a bit of a mix of things. First, we were going to a baseball game and then we were going out to dinner for my dad’s birthday. I picked out these pants that my sister gave me for my birthday and must have tried 100 different shirts on with the pants, liking nothing. I was about to give up when I remembered that I had a shirt that was currently laying in a pile on my dresser to be returned (because I tried the shirt with different shorts and did not like it at all). So I pulled out the shirt and put it on and god bless, hallelujah, I was in love! It was meant to be. The best part is that I could dress the outfit up or down with shoes for the day’s different activities, so it was perfect.
