On my recent trip to visit my sister in Arlington/DC, she took me to experience my first bottomless brunch and it was amazing! We don’t have bottomless brunch in Virginia Beach so I was so stoked to give it a try. And yes, the bottomless drinks are cool and all, but there was also bottomless food! I loved it because you can order anything from the regular menu and get a mini version of the dish.
We spent our Saturday afternoon at Buena Vida in Clarendon. As soon as we walked in, I was obsessed with the aesthetic of the restaurant and knew I was going to love it!
Brunch costs $34 and you can order anything from the menu except the starters (which can be enjoyed for an additional $10). This includes all mains, sides, and desserts and a selection of 8 different drinks.
My favorite drink was the Menina which is made with guava (yum), lemon, sugar, and sparkling wine. I also tried more than half of the foods on the menu (no shame in my game) and really enjoyed it all! My favorite dish was the steak and eggs, of course. My other top recommendations are the homemade biscuits, the steak salad, the fresh fruit cup, and the buñuelos dessert.
To wrap the brunch off, we made our way upstairs, where I discovered that there is the cutest rooftop bar ever! It was the perfect spot for a photoshoot where my sister took no fewer than 150 pictures of me. I’m not even mad.
Overall, I am entirely obsessed and will be going back when I visit and you should too! What are your favorite bottomless brunch spots (in any city) that I should check out?
